Schloss Meilgaard is a historic manor house on the Djursland peninsula in eastern Jutland, Denmark. The striking white castle, which dates back to 1573 in its core, is located in a picturesque forest and nature landscape near Glesborg. The castle itself is privately owned and actively used for forestry and agriculture. Therefore, the interiors cannot be visited. However, the beautifully landscaped Meilgaard Slotspark is accessible to the public. You can take wonderful walks here and admire the estate from the outside. The historic restaurant Meilgaard Slotskro is located on the grounds, offering Danish cuisine in a stately ambiance.

Hundreds of meters above sea level, at the entrance to Mols Bjerge, lies the small village of Agri with the rectory from the late 17th century and the medieval church from the 13th century with vaults from the 14th century, which give the church interior particularly good acoustics. Agri is located in the middle of Mols Bjerge National Park. The church consists of a Romanesque choir and a nave made of rough boulders. The tower and porch were added in the 18th century. The Ørnbjerg Mølle is the only fully functioning watermill still in Denmark. It is located nestled in a forest area southeast of Feldballe on the Ulstrup Å river in the idyllic Mols Bjerge National Park on the Djursland peninsula. The roots of the mill date back to the mid-16th century. The current thatched building dates from 1833 and is a protected monument. The site now functions as a museum mill. A freely accessible plank exhibition in the old pigsty (Svinehuset) documents the historical life and work at the mill. A dedicated association of volunteers (Ørnbjerg Møllelaug) maintains the mill. On special occasions (such as the annual Mill Day), the large water wheel is put into operation to grind grain. The surroundings offer picnic areas, two shelter sites for free overnight stays, and two camping sites.
