An idyllic little castle with a small castle garden and a little history to go with it. The castle opened its doors today for the first time in 30 years for the 2025 Heritage Open Day and was open for visitors, including a guided tour. The castle garden is always open.

The church, built of whitewashed bricks, is a listed building. A special feature is the open bell tower with the entrance to the church and parish hall. The side walls of the tower are slightly sloped.

Unfortunately, the path was damaged by construction machinery, and in places it was so sandy that cycling through was impossible. Bikes had to be pushed.
