I thought that section of the trail was absolutely beautiful. It could have been much, much longer. A true dream. Don't get me wrong! There aren't any standout highlights. The consistently good asphalt path and the beautiful, fragrant, peaceful forest are the highlights.

Very well-kept village with a typical Brandenburg fieldstone church.

The village of Schilde actually consists almost entirely of this church. Getting there by road bike is a bit difficult due to the typical Brandenburg cobblestones.

It's very shady in the summer, and has had top-quality asphalt for two years. The main road isn't an alternative. Unfortunately, it ends abruptly before Perleberg, or rather, it's a forest path.
