Villa del Barone (Montemurlo, Prato) An important historic building and Medici villa located in the hamlet of Bagnolo di Sopra. History and legend: Belonging to the Florentine Valori family, the villa is linked to a famous local legend according to which the ghost of Baron Baccio Valori's daughter wanders the rooms on December nights, after being walled up alive by her father. In recent years, it has also been included among the special projects of the FAI - Fondo Ambiente Italiano.

Finally, I got an idea of where this track, which I've heard about forever, is located. It seems incredible to me that it was built in close proximity to the beautiful medieval village of Scarperia, and among these beautiful hills. I discovered the circuit by chance during a bike excursion in the hills near Lake Bilancino. Unfortunately, the roar of engines at very high speeds can be heard even from the hills, at very great distances from the circuit. Fortunately, the track's path is well camouflaged in the green of the surrounding landscape.
