This beautifully engineered trail takes you along the inside of the gorge on what feels like quite a natural route. You hike under a partial rock shelf and above the stepped waterfalls and circular pools of Rainbow Falls. This spot is especially beautiful in the autumn when fallen leaves add color to the glen.

Yes, the park offers a variety of trails. These rim trails offer elevated views and a more leisurely, shaded experience, often connecting to form loop hikes with the Gorge Trail. For example, the Gorge and Indian Trail Loop combines both perspectives.
Among the 19 waterfalls, Rainbow Falls is particularly iconic, where sunlight often creates stunning rainbows in the mist, and hikers can sometimes walk behind the falling water. Another highlight is Cavern Cascade, which the trail also takes you behind. The Spiral Tunnel is a unique rock-carved passage leading to Cavern Cascade, adding to the park's enchanting geological features like potholes and water-carved rock walls.
