The Catholic parish church in the Oberkirch district of Stadelhofen is dedicated to Saint Wendelin. Construction period: The present-day church building, which shapes the local scenery, was erected between 1880 and 1882. History: Before the present church was built, there was already a church in the village in the 17th century (and presumably a small chapel as early as the 14th century). Until its independence, the community of Stadelhofen belonged to the parish in neighboring Ulm. In 1883, immediately after the completion of the new building, Stadelhofen was appointed an independent parish. Architecture: The design for the impressive new church building in the late 19th century came from the Karlsruhe architect and grand ducal building official Adolf Williard.

The Golfclub Urloffen e.V. in the Appenweier district of Urloffen (Baden-Württemberg) operates the largest golf facility in the Ortenau region. It is idyllically situated between the Upper Rhine and the Black Forest in the Rench Valley. The facility is quickly accessible by car from both Offenburg and Strasbourg. 18-hole championship course (A and B Course): It is designed flat, offers wide fairways and leads past old fruit trees. It offers sporting challenges for both experienced players and ambitious golfers. Public 9-hole course (C Course): A so-called "Pay and Play" course that can be played without a club membership and playing ability (PE). Perfect for beginners or quick rounds when time is short. Practice facilities: Spacious driving range with covered teeing areas for weather-independent, year-round training. Golf school: Susan Moorcraft's PGA golf school offers a wide range of courses for all skill levels, from introductory courses to playing ability.

There are two different memorial sites. Near the northern pedestrian and bicycle tunnel (a sandstone block in front of the bicycle parking garage), the death of 40 forced laborers on the station grounds is commemorated. They were disposed of on the spot in a mass grave. At the eastern staircase (between Goethe- and Carl-Blos-Straße) is the memorial site for the large-scale deportation of Jewish Baden residents.
