If you are looking for a quick, accessible way to get some exercise near the Daniel K. Inouye International Airport, this 3.3-mile (5.2 km) jogging loop is a practical option. The route offers a unique perspective on the airport's operational areas, with views of Oahu's mountains and the vibrant turquoise and sapphire waters visible between the runways. It is a moderate path, primarily on paved surfaces, designed for a straightforward and efficient workout.

Planning your visit means understanding the urban context; dedicated trailhead parking for recreational running is not a feature here, so access will likely be from airport facilities or nearby hotels. Given Honolulu's hot and semi-arid climate, with temperatures often between 80-90°F, it is wise to run during cooler parts of the day and ensure you have water. No special permits are needed for this route, which can be completed in about 32 minutes with its gentle 102 feet (31 metres) of elevation gain.

This loop stands out as a convenient option for travelers, allowing you to combine fitness with a glimpse of the local environment without venturing far. It provides a contrast to the more challenging volcanic ascents or coastal paths found elsewhere on Oahu, focusing instead on accessibility and a quick, refreshing break from travel. It is a good choice if you want to stretch your legs and get some fresh air close to HNL.

The Aloha Stadium has been providing multi-use entertainment for the past 47 years. The stadium is being revamped and actually made smaller from 50,000 seats to 25-30,000 seats. The project, like all construction projects, has hit a few snags and won't be ready until 2028.

This area has clean roads thantks to the United States Government. The area is great for specific interval training! There aren't any stunning views as you'd expect on Hawaii, but if an uninterrupted workout is your goal, this fits the bill.
