Das Räuberrad is a metal sculpture and the logo of the Volksbühne Berlin, designed in 1990 by set designer Bert Neumann and made in 1994 by Swiss sculptor Rainer Haußmann. The metal wheel, approximately four meters high, is intended to reference a thief's sign (Gaunerzinken) and was erected on a green space in front of the theater to mark a production of Friedrich Schiller's "Die Räuber" under the direction of Volksbühne director Frank Castorf. The state of Berlin purchased the sculpture in the mid-1990s for around 11,000 euros and left it permanently in the public space. A stylized depiction of Das Räuberrad was used as a central design element in Volksbühne publications until 2017.

Coming from Schöneiche, the road is unfortunately unpaved. However, it is still accessible by road bike. From the industrial area onward, it is paved.
