It is closed and only opened for groups. It’s really too bad it was a Hudson staple and was unsuccessfully turned into a high end restaurant with continuous staff rotation it never had the pub feeling it used to have and we have lost a gem.

The bike path along the Canal de Soulange is very popular. Parking, washrooms and picnic tables are available at many spots along the way.

There is an electrically powered pontoon boat which will take you across the river to Île-aux-vaches. $3.00 per person. Stop at Deux Grains aux Moulain on Chemin du Fleuve for some coffee and tasty treats.

An old fort. Route information and washrooms at the visitor centre.

it's one of the very few Parks Canada attractions that's few of charge. The site of an old fort, and one of the oldest (if not THE oldest) boat locks in North America. It's got a pretty neat log tower, a bunch of old cannons and a visitor's centre with water toilets and a water fountain.
