It's worth crossing from Plaka, the price is a bit cheaper at 12 euros. Good stability is required as the walk to the boat is a bit wobbly, ideally without any walking aids.

You can take the ferry from Elounda for €14 per person. The journey currently costs €14 and takes 20 minutes each way. For us personally it was a bit too crowded. Be sure to take drinks with you - on site they charge a mere €8 for 500ml of flavored water!
