Great view from the terrace and good, inexpensive food with friendly hosts. Unfortunately, the terrace is closed in March. Still worth a detour.

Neoclassical city palaces dominate the old town. These were built during the time when the city was the Greek capital from 1829 to 1834. There are also buildings from the Venetian and Ottoman periods.

Worth seeing is the Mycenaean bridge. At the southern end of the Tsouroumi hill, about 300 m north of the town, are the ruins of the old town, which was formerly called Proudzeika (Προυντζαίικα) or Broutzeika (Μπρουτζαίικα). The Albanian name shows that the town was founded by Arvanites who immigrated to Greece in the Middle Ages. About 1 km northwest of Arkadiko, the Kastraki Castle can be visited.

About 1.5 - 2 km after the start (the disco is on the right) it is better not to continue straight on the gravel road. It gets worse and worse and is difficult even for mountain bikes. It is better to take a small (paved) detour via Epidauros.

Exceptional site very well preserved with sound that you will not find elsewhere

I think the new Epidauros, which sits on an imposing rock, is more beautiful than the old one. Even if it doesn't have an ancient theater, it's worth a visit because smiling faces greet everyone who "gets lost" here.
