Scenic river canyon right next to the town of Litohoro. A road leads down to some riverside restaurants. The Hellenic Mountaineering Association hut and information center is just before the descent into the gorge, for information about climbing the mountains around Mt Olympus.

You can follow the international path-route of E4 the way down the cave to Litochoro, or the way up the cave to Prionia..Amazing path

If you're just going for a somewhat casual day hike from Litochoro then this is a great spot to stop, take a break, enjoy the spectacular view and turn around. The path onwards to the next good viewing point is pretty strenuous and it'll take at least another 90 mins of at times difficult hiking to reach the water fall or the Cave of Dionysos. Alternatively, continue onwards and use the point where the E4 meets the river banks to turn around.
