The Tannenwaldhütte was first mentioned in 1856 and destroyed by the storm "Lothar" on 26.12.1999. It was rebuilt by the nature club Michelbach, the leisure club "Ranch" and the forestry administration. Below the hut, there is a spring that does not run dry even on hot days.

The Karl-Schwarz-Brunnen was donated in 1910 by one of the founders of the Karlsruher Schwarzwaldverein and is located shortly after the source of the Michelbach. Next to the fountain, there is also an information board about its creation.

For me the most beautiful hut on the Michelbach circular route. Suitable for up to 16 people as a break area. A picnic table sheltered from the rain and one in front of the hut in the sun. A well kept little garden and across the path a wayside shrine and east trees. The hut is situated on a meadow and offers a beautiful view over Michelbach into the valley.
