It is indeed a bit further East on the intersection with the MTB trail - thus even better location!

Nice unpaved climb of the Amerongen mountain

Nice part of the MTB route Amerongen. This part has a good flow and is not too technical so it is easy to do on a gravel bike (just remember your vignette!)

Be careful in these sections. The recent very hot weather made the surfaces turn into sand and the earth has turned loose. Slightly further on from this photo area, i started going fast, then I came round a corner, the surface changed to loose sand, grip was lost, the bike went straight forward and it was the first fall in 36 trails in Netherlands. The surfaces seem to be getting looser with constant riding on them also by many riders. I stopped for a rest just after the area I fell off, then another person came off right in front of me. The surface at his fall was the same. Bit wet weathewr needed to keep surfaces compact without breaking up
