I enjoyed the peace and solitude of the area.

Unfortunately, the facility has aged a bit and the exhibition is no longer didactically modern. Some exhibits are defective, pictures are faded, and the aquarium panes are mossy. A barrier made of construction fence elements has been standing at the tower for more than 2 years. The content is interesting, but more could be made of it.

Very nice, because you can't see the Elbe for long stretches in Lower Saxony.

Unfortunately, the ferry is currently out of service due to a breakdown. However, the view over the Elbe meadows is worth it, and you can also enjoy a drink and a meal. I highly recommend the farmer's breakfast.
