Demeter Farming: Hands-on Social Farming from the very beginning. Our own cheese dairy, bakery, and vegetable garden. A great festival for the whole family!

At least the three times I passed by on different days, my devices were always charged. It's very likely that the station is open 24/7. But without your own charger, there's nothing to do there except take a leisurely break, have a snack, or shelter from the rain. 😆

The Huder Bach stream powers the monastery mill in Hude, at least it used to. It is idyllically situated on the Huder Bach stream, in a setting with the monastery ruins, the monastery tavern, and the villa and garden of the von Witzleben family.

Today, the watermill was open. Whit Monday is Mill Day, and every year, many mills are open to visitors. It's worth a visit, especially if there are explanations about the mill and the milling trade.

At this point of the Huder Bach you can often see a grey wagtail.

Unfortunately, none of the Scottish Highland cattle were to be seen today. Even binoculars were of no use. It's not a zoo, after all, but a forest pasture.
