The Grevelweg near Elspeet is almost impossible to navigate with a regular bike. There are many holes and deep grooves in the unpaved path. Unfortunately, I fell off my bike. Be careful!

The house de Hoge Duvel, if you continue cycling towards Apeldoorn you will go up the real Hoge Duvel. At the top is a bench. That is the highest point of the crown domain.

A wide view over the Elspeetsche Heide, where rolling heathlands and scattered groups of trees characterize the landscape. In the flowering season the heath turns an intense purple, and the vastness of the area provides a beautiful, open feeling.
