We came across this road during day 2 of our Green Divide gravel trip from Bussum to Zwolle. If you are looking for a fun Gravel adventure then this is a must!

Quick part down to Beekbergen / Apeldoorn. Ideal if you want to go to Apeldoorn quickly and in a straight line. The asphalt starts a bit bad, but soon changes into a newer part, with which you can only reach below high speeds without crossings. The only drawback, at the end of the segment you have to cross an N-road to continue the route towards Beekbergen / Apeldoorn

The asphalt is not in good condition, combined with speeding cars and motorcycles, this is not the best road to drive. If you take this into account when planning your route, this segment is fine to cycle at quieter times. The area is very beautiful and the road is a bit false flat through it

Beautiful green entrance into the forest from the Oude Arnhemseweg. Where most will choose to enter the forest from the Woeste Hoeveweg, this alternative path is certainly worthwhile. The path winds through beautiful dense vegetation to / from the swing gate by the road. On the way you also pass a memorial stone, but for whom it was I have not been able to read while passing.

Nice sandy descent with a few roots here and there. To do with the mtb and even the gravel bike if you know a little how to distribute your weight in such a descent. A little MTB experience is useful here.
