Only the ruins and the chimney and the administration building remain from the former Zellwald steam sawmill. It was probably operated in the 20's and 30's. The proximity to the railway line Nossen-Freiberg-Moldau (today Moldava) was favorable for the transport of raw and sawn goods. Adolf Hesse was named as the owner and later Karl Junghanss.
