Beata's bench was unveiled in August 2017 in front of the famous "Albatros" restaurant (built in 1962 according to a design by Henryk Gomółka). The bronze statue, depicting the heroine of Janusz Laskowski's song "Beata," was created by sculptor Michał Selerowski. The artist posed for the artist: Barbara Bujnowska, winner of the "Gazeta Współczesna" poll, who was chosen by the residents of the Podlaskie Voivodeship to succeed the legendary Beata. The poll was organized by "Gazeta Współczesna" in 2015, commemorating the 50th anniversary of the song's composition. The bench on which Beata sits recalls the story of a beautiful love that unfolded in Augustów over 50 years ago and resonated at parties across Poland for many years. The Beata bench project was implemented with the support and involvement of many institutions, including the initiator and media partner "Gazeta Współczesna" and sponsors, including the Augustów Consumer Cooperative "Społem", the British American Tobacco factory in Augustów, and the MPPB J.W. Ślepsk.

King Sigismund II Augustus Column – built in 2007, on the occasion of the 450th anniversary of granting city rights. It was built on the initiative of the residents as a thank you to the founder.

As Jacek Laskowski sang "Seven Girls from Albatross You are the Only One". The Albatros Restaurant is still in operation, and Beata from the song sits on a bench nearby.

The bench is located next to the Albatros restaurant. The figure represents the heroine of Janusz Laskowski's song "BEATA".

The church has beautiful stained glass windows in front and a large wooden cross mounted on top in a rather unusual way. An original idea.
