Yxnås Nature Reserve is a beautiful expanse of natural grassland between Alingsås and Vårgårda. It contains Fennoscandian species-rich grasslands, hay meadows, and a wet meadow. There are multiple buildings you can explore, including a soldier's torp from the 17th century. Well worth stopping if you're hiking the Gotaleden trail.

A giant stone standing in the forest, just off the path to the south of Siene Church. There's also a burial mound. According to legend, either Queen Sigrid Storråda or a king named Sigismund, was buried here. The site is said to be haunted!
