A lovely little walk around Nols Lake, with plenty of seating and barbecue areas scattered around the lake. There's also a cabin with a playground.

Pretty church quite far from the town of Saltum, right on the roundabout of the largest road connection in all directions of the region. Unfortunately, I noticed at this point that my rear tire was starting to tear on the sides and so I decided not to take a look inside...

Saltum Church is the largest and most monumental in Hvetbo County. It may have already been a Harde church when the Harde church was still in Hune. In any case, it was logical that it became the Hardekirche when the Tingstätte was moved to Saltum. Hardekirchen were introduced by law in 1284. The numerous medieval works of art in the church are impressive. In the choir we encounter wall paintings in the transitional style from the late Gothic to the Renaissance, which were created around 1520. When you look at the pulpit stairs, you will be fascinated by the relief images depicting various scenes from the life of Christ. From the birth to the return of Christ as judge of the world, everything is there! So if you are interested in this fascinating piece of history or just want to admire the beautiful architecture, you should definitely visit Saltum Church. You'll be amazed!
