December 13, 2025, Bernburg Castle

Bernburg Castle is the ruin of a medieval castle on the northern outskirts of Rottweil in the Rottweil district of Baden-Württemberg, Germany. The castle was first mentioned at the beginning of the 13th century. It belonged to the Lords of Bernburg. It was destroyed in 1417. The former castle complex was divided into three parts: a front, middle, and rear castle. Only scant remains of the outer bailey and a tower of the front castle survive.
