The Schmida has given the entire valley its name. It's not large. That's exactly what makes this section so pleasant. A flat path, a stream next to it, and a landscape that opens up more and more to the south until the valley merges into the plain at the Wagram.

To the left and right are cellars and press houses, but nobody lives here. The cellar itself is a passageway dug into the loess, cool and evenly tempered. This is how wine used to be stored, long before refrigeration technology existed. The press house above was purely a workspace. That's where the grapes came in and were pressed. In Stoitzendorf, such an alleyway runs through a wide hollow way, built almost continuously on both slopes, cellar after cellar, some with press houses, some without. Above them are old walnut trees that provide shade all summer long. Book a guided tour for more interesting information on the topic: https://www.weinviertel.at/kellergassenfuehrungen.

The church is a widely visible building towering over the town, with a nave featuring a high gable roof and a choir flanked by two towers. To the north, it is connected to the former rectory by a covered walkway. The church building is a listed monument.
