Rustic but cozy wooden bungalows with different occupancy options. Since the lodge is at an altitude of 2000m, it gets a bit chilly in the accommodations at night. Breakfast and dinner are made from regional products and are highly recommended.

After 3 bike tours in CR, covering almost every corner of the country, I can say that this was my favourite area. Sorry hot and humid coastal areas! It is valley in between two mountain peaks. Day temperatures are perfect 25*C with cool nights 15*C for restful sleep. Coffee plantations are everywhere with dirt roads waiting to be explored. Main roads are good with low traffic. There are plenty of small cities where you can resupply or have healthy meal. Who knows, maybe one day I'll move here! Enjoy and respect!
