Until 1989, the Ruh- or Mühlhansenmühle (Mill Hansen Mill) was maintained by certain eligible citizens (who owned land) and operated with fixed meals of 1/2, 1/3, 1/4, or 1/6 of a day. Since then, it has been run by a mill association consisting of a board, advisory board, and members with or without land ownership. Every two years, a mill and oven festival is now celebrated around Whitsun. (Text: Alfred Fleckenstein)
