The well-paved circular path isn't suitable for this due to geese and other people, unless you're doing the circuit in the middle of the night, but then you'll certainly have other problems. For relaxation/slowing down, the Aasee "city park" is certainly suitable, with all its diverse facets. Just come and visit the Aasee.
