There is a bird aviary just a few meters from the parking lot. There are some exotic birds to see. Visits are possible all year round and are free of charge (there is a donation box on site).

The downhill from the Thürner Flueh to Gelterkinden. One of my favorite descents (I live in Gelterkinden). Flowy at the top, technical from the middle onwards, tricky and with tight bends. Be careful when it's wet, as there are lots of roots lying across the path.
