A new shrine was erected to commemorate the gruesome murder of March 31, 1922. In my opinion, it was beautifully designed, with all the names of those who died there mentioned. In addition, the buildings were scaled down on the central column. A bench invites you to pause and perhaps reflect on this senseless murder.

The Edeslweißhütte is a hut belonging to the Schrobenhausen section of the German Alpine Association. You can stop by on Saturdays from 6 p.m. to 11 p.m. and on Sundays from 11 a.m. to 8 p.m. You can enjoy the hut's dishes and drinks either in the cozy parlor or outside in the beer garden.
