The waterwheels are a beautiful sight. There's also a club that regularly repairs them – it's wonderful. Such a great tradition simply must be preserved.

A very nice cycle path from Weisendorf to Hessdorf. It was desperately needed; previously, cycling on the road was a suicide mission when 40-ton trucks passed by with a gap of only 20 cm. There are also three benches along the way where you can take a short break.

Absolutely fantastic, generous portions, very friendly staff. You really can't go wrong ordering anything there – everything is delicious. And everything is served very quickly. Plenty of parking available and a lovely playground for the kids on the premises. The terrace is even more inviting in the summer.
