May 1, 2026, Bridge Removal at Rhondda River

As at April 2026, the north bank is open outside of working hours and they are getting ready to lay the final layer of black top.

Cracking Cafe open, Sat Sun and Wed year round.

As at 2nd March 2025, there is an awful lot of work going on in the valley building a new cycle path on the north bank of the river. The bridge here has been removed. I forgot to take a picture. It is a very long back track to Tayorstown to get on to the North bank. The north is bank is currently just passable on a gravel bike at the weekends but during working hours, I would expect the route to be closed. The work is going to take some time to complete.
