Lovely mix of fire road to start with and then a huge climb up and over into a valley that time forgot - perfect single track - although can be a bit muddy in places. Probably best to make sure there has not been too much rain in the week before riding this route - and in the winter be prepared for quick changes of weather and plummeting temperatures.

Capel Soar Y Mynydd is the most remote chapel in Wales. An invaluable spot to find some shelter on longer trips!

Super fast gravel track around the west side of Llyn Brianne. Probably very scenic when the sun's out - fog & rain the day I did it!

Really nice area. If the Hydro is working you get to see a spectacular water feature!

Great views. Some good stopping points for a sandwich and even a beach. If you cross the dam going clockwise round the surface is gravel so be aware of bike and tyre choice for the whole ride around the lake. A lot of the gates are locked and you will need to lift bikes over them if you cross the dam. There were a lot of motorbikes in groups on the sunny day we went. Undulating Road with some long down hill sections and steep climbs adds to the enjoyment of the ride.
