Very beautiful swimming lake with small coves for sunbathing or resting. Partly textile, partly nudist, as everyone wishes. The areas are marked, at the front by the Beachclub it's textile and the back part near the bike path is nudist. The Beachclub is only open in summer, there is food and drinks. (Prices quite high, but once is okay) Nice people there ...

It's also worth using the Lauschtour app here. You learn that the mill's owner, Mr. Dreyse, invented the needle gun in 1841, giving the Prussians a huge advantage over their muzzle-loading opponents by "loading the cartridges from the back." They were able to reload easily from cover and were faster.

When we finally arrived at the roundabout, we were amazed and delighted by the magnificent view. The Sondershausen roundabout is a semicircular structure built in 1910, with a World War II memorial dedicated in 1929, located on the Hainleite ridge. Located at 390 meters above sea level, it serves as a vantage point, including views of Sondershausen's town center and the Harz Mountains.

Directly next to the Unstrut cycle path. Anyone who wants to can take a cool dip here. Swim trunks are not absolutely necessary. It has a few small coves where you can get into the water easily.
