Had a coffee and one of the best sausage rolls I have had in a long time. Which I had on the picnic benches in the garden across the street. Delightful!

Free parking with access to toilets and a cafe in the courtyard, cafe a little expensive. it's also possible to park up at the woods off the Terrington Rd which save having to use the fast road section from the obelisk

The Helmsley market as being going for 600 years and takes up most of the parking at the Market Place on Fridays.

A beautiful market square. The monument on the square is striking.
