A gorgeous village in the heart of the Ribble Valley. A quiet road leaves the village, leading to The Ribble Valley Jubilee Trail down by the river.

The Anchor Inn pub at Salterforth has re-opened on the Canal side. One warning though that further past Greenberfield Locks there is a Bridge with a sign post pointing in the wrong direction. If you followed it you would be going the wrong way back to Barnoldswick or Colne. It actually points towards Gargrave I nearly fell for it! I am going to tell the Council or whoever is in charge of it. Have fun.
