Not too much to see to be honest but worth a look if you are doing the Sefton Village Heritage trail.

Nice historic village but probably better for a walk than a bike ride.

Paid for toilets - 40p - it’s a little hit and miss (no pun intended) on whether they’ll accept your coins. They don’t give change either but when you have to go, you have to go.

This is the view from the closest point I could get to Seaforth Nature Reserve. I thought I would check it out as I knew the only other route was through the Seaforth Port facilities and docks. It turned out that the map and my local knowledge were right. I've since discovered this info; "Access: Run  by the Lancashire Wildlife Trust. Please note you will need a visitors pass and a vehicle pass to get through the dock gates and go to the reserve. https://www.lancswt.org.uk/nature-reserves/seaforth-nature-reserve" You can read more about the reserve by clicking on the following link. If you are a birder it sounds like it might be worth the effort to obtain the necessary passes. https://group.rspb.org.uk/liverpool/local-wild-places/seaforth-nature-reserve-a-local-treasure/

A futuristic looking building that provides a timely rest stop or an alternative starting point for your walk. There is parking, a cafe and toilet facilities.

If you go very early, there is a barn owl that you may catch a glimpse of. The last time I visited she was teaching her young how to hunt.
