A very easy walk, mix of road, forest paths and less defined paths. Can't really see much of the lake due to the forest, but it's still quite a pleasant walk. Some views of Duns Castle.

The tracks to the south are wide off road vehicle access roads so the running is easy and you have plenty of time to look at the views. The reservoir was built in the 1930's to provide water to the surrounding area.
