The whole forest is great to explore by bike. A gravel bike is just as suitable as a hardtail MTB. The paths are mostly very easy to ride, but in winter some can be a bit muddy.

As noted the distillery is closed until further notice. You can walk around and peak in the windows but not much else. Check the website to confirm. Guessing it won’t reopen over the winter season.

The bridge is gone at the river Lossie, there is a ford but it's fairly deep, I would not recommend this route at the moment as there no nearby crossings, better to go via Dallas

Worth the climb up to gain expansive views over the Moray Firth and Culbin Forest.
