A magnificent view from the pass, everything is wild and sublime. I recommend going up a few meters on the path to the left (leading to the Pic d'Escreins) to see Lac Vert in its mineral setting.

At the Col des Houerts, turn left when coming from the Val d'Escreins, and this peak of more than three thousand is very accessible without great technical difficulty, with often ibexes on the way. At the top a 360 view, in particular the Lac Vert, the Pic de Panestrel and the Pic de la Font Sancte

The climb to the Col des Houerts terminating the Bua valley (Val d'Escreins) offers a mineral and wild view. If you hear rolling stones, look up and you will see ibexes or chamois.

From the Col de la Coulette you look out over the valleys on both sides. Take in the surroundings before descending back down.

Vallon des Pelouses you just run into a herd of sheep. Greet the shepherd and watch the dog, for he is very careful to protect his flock.
