No lizard sculpture, but a beautiful courtyard nonetheless. The milk is delicious, and so is the cheese.

There are parking spaces at the reservoir as well as benches and tables for a rest. The lake is not particularly big but still offers some variety. 👍🏻

It's worth coming here because you're in a quiet place. You can look at the remains of the bunkers and read the information boards. There are also many opportunities to take a break, such as the shelter or one of the many benches that the tour offers.

From here you can start the approximately 7km long "Westwallweg". There are many free parking spaces available here. The blown-up bunkers are partly covered with earth, but in many cases the rubble and parts of the bunkers are still clearly visible. The state of Rhineland-Palatinate is responsible for the traffic safety of the monuments and has secured them with fences. Please do not climb over the fences; there is a considerable risk of injury and the flora and fauna will be significantly disturbed.
