This is one out of two trails from Orlove Stijene to Svilaja, and if you find hiking on gravel roads rather boring, then I'd reccomend this trail. This segment of the trail is going through lots of sinkholes (hence the name "preko vrtača" which is officially used), so expect lots of ups and downs. This part of the trail isn't as picturesque as before the sinkholes, where there are small meadows offering views towards the peak, and after the sinkholes, where you get to a rocky plateau with barely any vegetation and become surrounded by views and peaks. But it is fascinating beacuse of its numerous sinkholes.

From the top of Svilaja there is a beautiful view of the Dinara, Peručko Lake and the Dalmatian hinterland. Very beautiful peak of the famous Croatian mountain. Worth a visit.
