Very nice place on the beach, particularly rewarding for a break. Chilling in the sun or resting in the shade of the trees.

There is a car park at the northern end of the Fruens Plantage woodland. A little further south-west, there is a wooden hut. Here, you are walking along the „Troll Route“, which runs from Næstved to Mogenstrup.

Turebyholm: In the mid-17th century, the scholar Birgitte Thott, who was known for her written and philosophical works, lived on Turebyholm. In 1747, Adam Gottlob Moltke bought Turebyholm, which he placed under his newly created county of Bregentved three years later. The farm is still owned by the Moltkes family in 2021. The then owner, Adam Gottlob Motlke, built Turebyholm's current main building in 1750 with the aim of it serving as a pavilion for him when he was visited by the king. The detached main building consists of a single-storey wing in the Rococo style. https://www.danskeherregaarde.dk/nutid/turebyholm
