The large meadow with a playground and a few benches is certainly the most pleasant place to spend time at the Oberpfuhl and in the Lychen town area. Boats can dock, and you could even go on a boat tour yourself, but unfortunately, there's no suitable swimming spot. No water treading either. - Still. It's absolutely idyllic here, not least because of the beautiful tall trees and the peninsula-like shape of the area.

The Owl Tower, part of the fully preserved Templin city wall, built or rebuilt in the 14th century, strangely has a door high up at a height of 6 meters. From there, prisoners were lowered and forced to eke out their existence in the narrow, windowless room – absolutely gruesome! But the structure also had other functions. It served, of course, as a place of observation and also as a defense against attacks.

Thanks to the efforts of some Templin residents, the frogs were able to return to their original place on the fountain's rim on April 21, 2021. Created by Berlin stonemason Erik Lüpke, the frogs face all four cardinal directions. Each frog holds a symbol in its hands.

Whether the forest path is great... well... with the right vehicle or on foot, yes, otherwise it can be quite arduous. If you follow this path, you end up in the thicket of a typical "Komoot path", as it is hardly frequented towards the end.
