The location of the station is the real highlight. It was a great idea to build it right here. Firstly, there were already tracks here and secondly, the path to the treetop path is not far.

The "Siebenbrüderweg", which crosses the areas between Borkwalde and Fichtenwalde, is becoming increasingly popular with hikers, joggers and cyclists. On an approx. 800 meter long section along the path, the pine population was thinned out and an "ecological forest edge design" was carried out with the support of the Forest Enterprise Foundation. In 1989 the IL 18 landed on the 800 meter long grass runway at Borkheide airfield, where the Hans Grade Museum was set up. Very interesting and worth seeing

Event location - art and culture barn. A great location in the forest with very nice hosts. Lots of leisure activities, overnight stays and a lot more.

In the middle of the historical area of the historic Beelitz Heilstätten is their train station. The RE 7 takes you every hour, relaxed from Berlin (or Dessau) to almost the treetop path. It is only a 6-minute walk from the train station and you are at the ServiceCenter, in the historic gatehouse.
