Coffee and delicious cakes are also available, and in the summer you can enjoy them in a small garden. Needle with Golden Thread On this site once stood the only mill in Schwabach's old town, dedicated to the needle-making trade and giving the Nadlersbach stream its name. At the height of the 19th century, roughly a quarter of the city's population was employed in needle production across 231 workshops and factories. The civic foundation "Unser Schwabach" (Our Schwabach) initiated a community project with Schwabach residents engaged in local history and art.
