The wonderful Vimmerby Church – even from the inside. Photo 1 is taken from the marked location; photos 2-4 are supplements from other angles. The services there are also heartfelt, and Swedish liturgy has its own unique charm.

Wooden church in Djursdala with a separate church tower. Reminiscent of the wooden church in Pelarne near Bullerbyn.

Vimmerby Church in miniature, a play church in the children's playground behind the original. With a climbing wall on the tower, a sandbox, and more. Wonderful!

This small village with around 70 inhabitants was established in the 17th century, although the houses date from around the 18th century. Some scenes from the film adaptation of The Six Bullerby Children by Astrid Lindgren were filmed here.

The church in Horn was built in the 12th century, and today we can still see the original tower from the first structure. The rest of the church was replaced in 1804 by the beautiful stone church that we can see today. In the porch remains the 12th-century iron door, still preserved. The baptismal font also belongs to the oldest items and is from the 13th century. In the 19th century, the only decoration in the church was a simple cross and above it the sun, symbolising God.
