The kazun, a field shelter made of field stones, is typical of southwestern Istria. The approximately 20-30 m² dry stone huts were previously used to observe your fields before the harvest and as shelter in bad weather for shepherds and their animals. You can get a pretty good impression of the construction and size in the “Kazun Park” just before Vodnjan. The project “My Kazun - La mia casita” has existed since 2013. There is no entry fee and is freely accessible.
