The pedestrian bridge is a replica of the old wooden pontoon bridge, popularly called "Pontonac", which was used for years by walkers and bathers at the city bathing area in Karlovac, connecting the Vrbanić park with the right bank of the Korana river between the waterfall and the old wooden bridge.

The monument is in a desperate state, which is a shame because it is really monumental. The monument is open, and although there is a certain danger and you have to be careful, you can explore it from the inside and climb not the roof, which is a special experience. But be careful!
