When I was driving up the main road towards the tunnel, I hadn't planned on making a detour down. The road is so small that only one car can drive on it. But every 100m there are bays built in for oncoming traffic. There are a few parking spaces down below and a restaurant with parking spaces. But not too many. There is a bathing bay and I think the second one is private, but I'm not sure. In any case, I can recommend everyone to go there, it's worth it.

So we were there today at the beginning of the tunnel and there was a sign saying no entry due to danger of collapse. But that is not taken so seriously here. You can drive through, but beautiful is something else. We drove around the outside. It was definitely more beautiful. But the fishing port of Vira is not worth it. The journey was good, the destination was not.

Easily accessible by e-mountain bike from Milna via this special place, then continue along the gravel road to the asphalt road 6252 towards Brusje to Hvar. The climb from Milna to the 6252 is sometimes strenuous despite the e-MtB, but the view makes up for every meter of altitude, and the subsequent journey along the asphalt road to Hvar is relaxed again.

Nice little place, with free parking. As of 2023. However, you also have to say that the parking spaces would cost something while we continued driving.

Abandoned by humans, this place nestles in a valley. There is another classroom (locked) and a mill underneath. A house has been lovingly restored and converted into a tavern with excellent cuisine. Open from 4 p.m Peka food is always freshly prepared and is only available on advance order, tastes excellent here, I can only recommend it👍👍👍

Beautifully located bay with a simple tavern and a small beach bar. Beach bar is already closed at the end of September. In Konoba you eat very good freshly caught tuna. After the season, the owners go to the grape harvest and olive harvest. The bay can be reached in 10 minutes with sturdy shoes or by boat.

Since 2018, the entrance fee to the castle has increased from 25 to 70 kuna🤔 The fortress is a symbol of an exceptionally important and turbulent past of this city. Very well-preserved condition and excellent picturesque location make it one of the most beautiful city-fortresses on the Croatian coast.
