To protect the trade route leading from Litomyšl - that was the initial intention with which Přemysl left Otakar II. to build a solid castle Svojanov, then Fürstenberg, in the middle of the 13th century. In the 1380s, it was inhabited by Záviš from Falkenstein. During the 16th century, Renaissance buildings were added to the castle core, but during the Thirty Years' War and later during the Prussian-Austrian War, they succumbed to destruction and fell into disrepair. Today you can walk through the massive castle ruins and a well-preserved empire building from the mid-19th century. You can choose from three tours that take you to the interiors, to the courtyard, to the Gothic garden or to the ramparts.

Built at the turn of the 13th and 14th centuries. Edited later. During the repairs of the church in 1931, Gothic paintings were uncovered covering the window sashes, the presbytery and the walls of the main nave.
